With over 25 years of experience in executive search, Dom works across the full investment lifecycle, supporting CEO, CFO and critical functional appointments that align directly to value creation plans. His focus is on ensuring leadership capability matches the investment thesis, operational agenda and exit horizon.
Dom is known for his disciplined, relationship driven approach. He values transparency, respect and long term partnerships, believing that talent decisions in a PE environment are capital decisions and should be treated with the same rigour.

Prior to founding Emu Search, Dom held senior leadership roles within global recruitment firms. He launched Robert Half’s Executive Interim practice in Melbourne before co founding Venator Finance & Accounting in 2007 with Ed Michelsberg. Together, they established Emu Search in 2019 with a clear focus on Private Equity and portfolio company leadership.
Dom holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Central Lancashire.
Outside of work, he lives on the Mornington Peninsula with his wife and two sons, where he enjoys family life, coastal living and keeping perspective beyond the boardroom.
