After 10 years of experience in the executive search field in the USA and Australia, Lindsay has built her career on being true to her word and respecting others – qualities at the forefront of her approach to business. Her invaluable ability to deliver on our talent mapping objective reduces the time it takes to find extraordinary leaders.
Having built the foundation of her career in the finance space, moving into executive search has resulted in her focussing on high-growth and transformational private equity owned businesses, often when they’re building their senior leadership teams to help achieve the growth strategy for their portfolio companies. Since joining Emu she’s worked with many of our retail and tech clients too.
Lindsay fully embraces the discovery phase of each client engagement. And by that we mean she truly loves deep diving into understanding an organisation’s needs and then strategically, creatively and thoroughly executing on the assignment – connecting the dots between the perfect role for the perfect executive leader.
Being part of a team that emphasises client experience is a privilege. We’re consultative and care about fostering relationships, becoming trusted partners. Plus, I love bringing opportunities to prospective leaders that could change their life and their families’ lives too.
Before joining Emu, Lindsay worked at PwC in their tax team, where she specialised in International Assignment/Global Mobility Services. She’s also spent many years in various Senior Executive Search roles, namely for Robert Half, working with businesses to employ finance professionals for their growing teams and large, publicly listed organisations as well as private equity backed SMEs to recruit and build their senior leadership teams.
Lindsay has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Elon University.
Weekends are busy, exploring the many culinary experiences of Melbourne’s north with her husband and young daughter and barracking for the Western Bulldogs. Her commitment as a first-time mum to be the best role model she can be, motivates her daily – it’s the same passion Lindsay brings to work and it’s very inspiring.
